The All Progressives congress has said it will abide by the ruling of a court suspending its National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole. Justice Danlami Senchi of a Federal Capital Territory High Court had on Wednesday pronounced Oshiomhole suspended. Senchi said based on the suspension of Oshiomhole by the party in his Ward in Edo State, he has no justification remaining as the head of the party. President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Bashir Jamoh as the director-general of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). Jamoh will replace Dakuku Peterside who was appointed in 2016 to head the maritime agency. Peterside’s tenure as NIMASA DG ends on March 10, 2020. The newly appointed DG is currently the executive director for admin and finance at NIMASA.
