Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello has directed that salaries and allowances of all Political Appointees in the State be slashed by 30%. A statement issued by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane disclosed that the reduction of the salaries of the Political Office Holders is with immediate effect.
