Ban on Motorcycles: FCT Police activate enforcement exercise

Following the ban of motorcycles in some parts of the FCT by the FCTA, the FCT Command have held several meetings with the various heads of motorcycle units across the Territory, activated an enforcement exercise at the various Divisional and Area command AORs. Today 26th July 2022,operatives of the Durumi Divisional Police Headquarters arrested motorcycles numbered about 20 for violating the ban. President Muhammadu Buhari has written the Senate to confirm 19 nominees as Resident Electoral Commissioners for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
