The Nigerian Senate has passed the 2022 Supplementary Budget of N819.5 billion. The bill was passed at the plenary on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. In his drive to clean up the solid mineral sector, Governor Ademola Adeleke has ordered the immediate disbandment of the state’s Mining Joint Taskforce (JTF). The existing JTF is consequently directed to hand over all government vehicles and documents in their possession to the Solid Minerals Committee.
