JUST IN: NLC declares 2-day nationwide mass protest

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has declared a two-day nationwide mass protest for February 27 and 28 over the current economic hardship. Comrade Joe Ajaero, disclosed this on Friday during an ongoing press briefing at Labour House, Abuja. NLC and the Trade Union Congress, TUC, had on February 9, issued a 14-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to implement agreements reached with workers to ease economic hardship in the country.

University of Abuja issued over 80,000 Certificates since 2019 – Registrar

By ABUBAKAR YUSUF     The Registrar, University of Abuja, Yahaya Mohamed said the Institution has issued 87,000 backlog of certificates of various programs since the inception of the present administration of Professor Abdulrasheed Na’Allah in 2019. The backlog of certificates abandoned since 2006 contained 45,000 for graduates and 42,000 for the diploma students of the Institution. He said the new policy of the Institution is that certificates of graduated students will be ready for pick up immediately on graduation to avoid reoccurrence.
