Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State have honoured former National Vice President of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Alhaji Hussaini Yusuf Bosso (Ardon Paiko), with a Humanitarian Service Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to humanitarian service, peacebuilding and community development.
The award was presented during a Tea Talk and Award Ceremony organised by the Political Appointees’ Forum of Paikoro Local Government Chapter under the theme, “Political Unity: 2027 General Election in Focus.”
The event brought together party leaders, government officials and stakeholders to promote reconciliation, strengthen internal cohesion and mobilise APC members ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Receiving the award, Bosso expressed appreciation to the organisers, describing the recognition as an encouragement to intensify his humanitarian interventions and continue supporting vulnerable members of society.
He pledged to sustain initiatives that promote peace, unity and social development, urging political leaders to prioritise the welfare of the people above personal and political interests.
According to him, sustainable development can only be achieved through selfless leadership and collective efforts aimed at addressing the needs of communities.
Speaking at the event, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Zubairu Dada, called on APC members to remain united, describing unity as the party’s greatest strength and a critical factor for success in the 2027 general elections.
He said the party’s leadership was committed to reconciling aggrieved members and strengthening its structures to consolidate the achievements of the current administration at both the state and national levels.
Dada also commended the organisers for creating a platform that encourages dialogue, reconciliation and internal harmony within the party.
Also speaking, the Niger State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Abubakar Musa, said the ongoing developmental projects across the state reflected the APC-led government’s commitment to improving the lives of citizens.
He urged party members to remain focused and united in order to ensure the party’s continued electoral success.
Earlier, the Chairman of Paikoro Local Government, Hon. Aminu Umar, praised the Political Appointees’ Forum for organising the programme, noting that it would further strengthen unity among party members and provide an avenue for constructive engagement and reconciliation.
He expressed confidence that the renewed spirit of cooperation within the party would boost the APC’s chances of securing victories from the grassroots to the national level in the 2027 general elections.
The event also featured the recognition of several distinguished personalities for their contributions to the development of Paikoro Local Government, with Bosso’s Humanitarian Service Award emerging as one of the highlights of the occasion.
