The NUJ FCT Chairman urged Muslim faithful to use the celebration to pray for peace, stability and prosperity in Nigeria, while promoting dialogue and tolerance.
She also called on journalists and other media practitioners to uphold truth, justice and humanity in the discharge of their professional responsibilities.
According to her, responsible journalism remains essential to strengthening democracy, promoting national cohesion and protecting values that advance the wellbeing of society.
Ike reaffirmed the commitment of the NUJ FCT Council to professional excellence and responsible journalism, and prayed that Almighty Allah would accept the prayers of Nigerians and bless the country with lasting peace and prosperity.
