Ojukwu received the award at a ceremony held at Chida Hotel, Abuja, where UTA recognised his commitment to humanitarian values and efforts to strengthen the protection of human rights in Nigeria.

The award, according to the organisers, acknowledges the NHRC Executive Secretary’s contributions to promoting human dignity, human rights and humanitarian principles.

Receiving the honour, Ojukwu expressed appreciation to UTA for the recognition, pledging to intensify his efforts in the service of humanity.

He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing the protection of human rights and dignity, while strengthening initiatives that contribute to a more just and inclusive society.
