The Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC, Dr Kashim Akor has been praised for continuous intervention in the area of provision of more solar street lights to Ankpa town and it’s environs.
The Onu Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar stated this while on routine visit to some areas of Ankpa metropolis, saying the NPC community development template had come to stay.
He said capturing some vital areas of the town like Eneokpoli road, Angwan Ede and other demanding areas of the town with solar street lights as alternative source of power will not only attract more development, but curb the unabated security situations in the area.
The royal highness said reports reaching him showed the entire community is being covered with solar street lights, stating that this is a veritable tool to both economic, social and infrastructural emancipation of the area.
He urged the community to support the giant strides of NPC with prayers ,so as to attract more attention both through community development and corporate social responsibility gesture of the agency.
The Monarch thanked the Director General for both his high level of patriotism and community service, challenging others to replicate such laudable initiatives.
