Odiakose, described by the Council as a respected journalist, dedicated his career to ethical journalism, with particular contributions to the coverage of political events in Nigeria.
Until his death, he worked with the Nigerian Observer, Nigerian Pilot and Daily Asset newspapers, where he made significant contributions to the journalism profession.
