The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global cybersecurity firm, Kaspersky, to strengthen Nigeria’s cyber resilience and protect its critical digital infrastructure. The agreement was formalised at GITEX Nigeria 2025 in Lagos, with NITDA’s Director General, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, and Kaspersky’s General Manager for Africa, Chris Norton, representing both organisations.
