The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of seven journalists in a road accident that occurred on Monday, December 29, 2025, in Gombe State. In a statement issued on Tuesday and signed by its Founder and Executive Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola, the Islamic human rights organisation commiserated with the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) following the loss of five staff members of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and two other individuals in the crash.
