The Zamfara State Governor, Bello Mutawalle has suspended the Emir of Birnin Yantodo, Alhaji Aliyu Marafa, for conferring a chieftaincy title on a banditry kingpin, Ado Alero. Secretary to the State Government, Kabiru Balarabe, in a statement, announced the suspension of the Emir with immediate effect, stated that the State government distanced itself from all the processes.
