Ondo State Government has announced that the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s burial will take place on February 23 and 24, 2024. Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa disclosed this on Monday after a state cabinet meeting. Akeredolu died at about 2 a.m. on Wednesday, 27, 2023, at a German hospital where he was receiving treatment. He died of leukemia and prostate cancer, two ailments that had made him incapacitated for several months. His remains was brought from Germany to Nigeria on January 6, 2023.
