The indigene of Egba land in Ogun state have expressed total dissatisfaction with the handling of the case of the new year day killing of a Central Bank of Nigeria staff, Kehinde Fatinoye, his wife and son. They were particularly angered with the reported escape of one Mr Lakan Adekanbi, the only suspect, connected to the killing from the Ibara Police division where he was been held in custody. Widow to late Mr. Emmanuel Ogbogu, Mrs. Ebele Ogbogu (petitioner), in continuation of hearing in her petition which came up today, March 2, 2021 recounted before the Independent Investigative panel on police brutality sitting in Abuja how her husband was arrested by six heavily armed police men. The matter which bothered on alleged enforced disappearance, Mrs. Ogbogu informed the panel that the men, who were in Mufti arrived in two cars, arbitrarily arrested her husband and took him away to an unknown destination.
