FUEL SUBSIDY: NUJ joins NLC planned protests,to withdraw services Wed 7

The Central Working Committee of Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ has directed all State Councils of the Union to mobilise members to withdraw their services and commence protests nationwide from Wednesday next week, 7th June, 2023, if the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNCPL) refused to reverse the new price regime in the oil sector. NUJ Warns Senate Over Hate Speech Bill

The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ has called on the Senate to tread with caution in their consideration of a bill before it that proposes capital punishment for hate speech offenders. The bill Specifically suggests that any person found guilty of any form of hate speech that results in the death of another person shall die by hanging upon conviction.
