The Oyo State House of Assembly has given Transition Committee Chairmen of Local Government and Local Council Development Areas in the state up till 23rd of October, 2020 to  submit a comprehensive report on the state of earth moving equipment in their councils to the house or face outright suspension. The Senate on Wednesday directed its Committees on Petroleum Downstream, Gas Resources to investigate the remote and immediate causes of gas tanker explosions in parts of the country, with a view to preventing a reoccurrence and report back in two weeks.
