JUST IN: Tribunal sacks Nasarawa Gov, Abdullahi Sule, declares PDP’s Ombugadu Winner

The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has sacked Abdullahi Sule and declared People Democratic Party’s David Ombugadu as governor of Nasarawa state. This is according to the ruling of the Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Ezekiel Ajayi on Monday, October 2, 2023. Recall that the National Independent Election Tribunal (INEC) had declared Sule the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the election with 347,249 votes. Ombugadu pulled 283, 016 votes. However, the PDP candidate rejected the outcome of the election, citing irregularities, and headed to the tribunal

WAEC announces Amos Dangut as new Head of Nigeria Office
