The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) said the three tiers of government shared N1.14 trillion for May. FAAC made this known in a communique issued at its June meeting on Monday, June 10, 2024. The meeting was chaired by Wale Edun, minister of finance and coordinating minister of the economy. President Bola Tinubu has sacked Solomon Arase as the chairman of Police Service Commission (PSC).   He also appointed retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police Hashimu Argungu as the new chairman of PSC.   This was disclosed in a statement by the spokesman of the president, Ajuri Ngelale on Monday night.     In addition to DIG Argungu’s appointment as chairman, Chief Onyemuche Nnamani has been appointed as secretary while DIG Taiwo Lakanu (retd.) is to serve as a member of the commission.   These appointments according to Ngelale are subject…
