Senator Barau mourns veteran journalist, Kabiru Yusuf

The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has mourned the death a veteran journalist with the Radio France Internationale (RFI Hausa), Kabiru Yusuf,who died on Tuesday.   Late Kabiru Yusuf, who hailed from Kano State was the Federal Capital Territory correspondent of the Triumph Newspaper and RFI Hausa. Senators from the Southeast region have held a meeting with the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi,over the release of proscribed leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
