I must start out by congratulating my principal, Governor Abubakar sani Bello over his victory at the supreme court. with the pronouncement at the Apex court validating the election of Governor Abubakar sani Bello, the legal battle is over.
The battle for the soul of niger state is over.
On this premise, and as democrats we are at home with the fact that it is not a case of winner takes all,rather we are aware that the process and the exercise afford the opportunity to further deepened our democratic culture and values with service to the people as mainstay.
Consequently moving forward, i implore all leaders and members of the opposition to form a synergy with Governor Abubakar sani Bello in building Niger state of our dreams. I want them to objectively on their dissenting divides point out areas of difference in view, such dissenting views based on issues and ideology with no doubt strengthened the Governor to do more in delivering good governance.
It is normal in democracy to have divergent views and alternative proposed policies, but it should be shared constructively with the Governor.It is not the question of who takes the credit, so far the positive impact of such policies is for the good people of the state. Let us therefore join hands together in moving Niger state forward and to greater heights.
Once again i make bold to say congratulations Governor Abubakar sani Bello, Congratulations the good people of Niger state.
