The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has appointed Hon. Nelson Ogbu as Chairman of its Benue State Congress Appeal Committee, as part of ongoing nationwide party congresses.
Ogbu, a founding member of the ADC coalition, is described as a seasoned media and political affairs consultant, accomplished journalist, and grassroots politician with a reputation for integrity, competence, and service.
In a letter dated April 2 and signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Prince Chinedu Idigo, the ADC expressed confidence in Ogbu’s ability to effectively handle the responsibilities of the role.
The party noted that his appointment is aimed at ensuring a credible, transparent, and efficient appeal process in Benue State, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening internal democratic structures across the country.
The development was coming as the ADC continue efforts to deepen party organization and cohesion through its congress processes nationwide.
