Akpabio celebrates First Lady Remi Tinubu at 65, describes her as ‘Pillar of Love and Strength’

President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has extolled the virtues of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 65th birthday, describing her as a “pillar of love and strength” to her husband, the less privileged, and the nation.

 

In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, the Senate President lauded the First Lady’s lifelong dedication to philanthropy, compassion, and public service.

 

“Your Excellency, our dear Mother of the Nation, Wife of the President and First Lady, Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, is a loving mother, the pillar of love and strength to the husband, the downtrodden, and the nation at large,” Akpabio stated.

 

He highlighted her track record of service, recalling her roles as First Lady of Lagos State, Senator of the Federal Republic, and now First Lady of the nation, noted that her goodwill and humanitarian gestures have been most visible through the Renewed Hope Initiative Empowerment Programme.

 

Akpabio also praised Senator Tinubu for providing the needed support and encouragement to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, enabling him to serve the nation effectively.

 

“On behalf of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the entire National Assembly, my family, and constituents, I extend warmest congratulations to you on your 65th birthday. Your life has been a testament to dedication, compassion, and service to our great nation,” the Senate President said.

 

He further commended her contributions to women’s empowerment, youth development, and education, describing them as invaluable.

 

Akpabio concluded with warm wishes for good health, joy, and continued strength as she supports the President in delivering on the Renewed Hope Agenda.

 

“Happy 65th birthday, First Lady, Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON. We value your service to the nation,” he added.
