The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has commended the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje,on his 75th birthday, described him as a committed democrat and a transformative leader.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, the Senate President extolled Ganduje’s dedication to democracy and his impactful leadership in strengthening the APC.
“Your Excellency, this milestone is a testament to your remarkable life, dedicated service, and unwavering commitment to our great nation,
“As a two-time Deputy Governor and Governor for eight years, your contributions to Nigeria’s democracy are exemplary.”Akpabio stated.
The Senate President highlighted Ganduje’s leadership accomplishments within the APC, citing the party’s electoral successes under his stewardship.
“As a dedicated democrat and conscientious party man, you have brought immense success to our party. Under your leadership, we have secured victories in Ondo and reclaimed Edo in a resounding triumph. Your sterling leadership has also fostered unity in the party and attracted members from the opposition, thanks to the collaborative efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Assembly,” Akpabio remarked.
He also prayed for Ganduje’s continued health and happiness, expressing hope for even greater achievements in the future.
“On behalf of my family, constituents, the Senate, and the National Assembly, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency on this diamond jubilee. May your birthday mark the beginning of another year of good health, joy, and peace,”he concluded.
