Akpabio empowers Akwa Ibom North West with Roads, ICT Centres, Markets, Security facilities, Schools

The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots development and effective representation by commissioning multiple projects across Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District in the past 10 days.

Accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Unoma Akpabio, fellow lawmakers including Senators Ede Dafinone and Abiodun Olujimi, state officials, and community stakeholders, Senator Akpabio inaugurated a series of life-transforming initiatives.

 

The projects commissioned included newly constructed roads to open up communities, ICT centres to equip youths with digital skills, furnished classroom blocks to promote quality education, ultramodern markets to stimulate commerce, and fully furnished police quarters to enhance security.

 

Addressing jubilant crowds at various locations, Akpabio urged communities to safeguard and take ownership of the projects. He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the timely release of funds that made the developments possible.

 

The Senate President further expressed appreciation for the overwhelming support shown by his constituents, describing their trust as his strength and their backing as his motivation.

 

“Better days lie ahead, and together, we will keep building an Akwa Ibom North West of pride, progress, and prosperity,” he assured.
