In a world where professional lines are often rigidly drawn, Engr. Abdulrahim Muhammad Zulqarnain stands out as a rare breed an engineer by training, but a healer by calling. Popularly referred to as “Doctor” by admirers and beneficiaries of his alternative health solutions, Zulqarnain has carved a unique niche that blends engineering, natural medicine, and humanitarian service.
Recently, Engr. Zulqarnain achieved a major milestone when five of his natural health products, including eucalyptus water and essential oils, received approval from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) a feat that affirms the efficacy and quality of his innovations in natural healing.
Beyond his personal achievements, he is a one-man army of impact devoted to reducing unemployment by training countless youths in practical skills and entrepreneurship through his initiatives: Qarnain Healthy Living for the Elderly and Youths and Qarnain Agro-Allied Services. Many of his mentees today lead successful careers across various professions in Nigeria.
Engr. Zulqarnain currently serve as the Director of Engineering Design and Evaluation at the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA). His appointment as substantive director was officially approved by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, on September 26, 2024.
A product of Abdulazeez Atta Memorial College, Okene, he was known for both academic excellence and athletic prowess as a skilled footballer in his youth. He proceeded to the University of Ilorin, where he not only graduated with distinction in Engineering but also served as the University Imam. A memorizer of the Holy Qur’an, he continues to exemplify the values of humility, discipline, and service.
His deep compassion for humanity and unwavering commitment to Islam reflect a noble lineage. He is the son of Imam AbdulRahim and grandson of Sheikh Al-Imam Yahaya Tajudeen, both revered scholars of blessed memory. These values of piety and service run in his blood.
As he prepare to bow out of civil service by August 2025, In Shaa Allah, Engr. Zulqarnain leaves behind a legacy of dedication, innovation, and impact an embodiment of excellence in both professional and spiritual life.
