The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the dates for the purchase and submission of nomination forms ahead of its forthcoming Zonal Congress and National Convention, while also announcing a change of venue for the South-South Zonal Congress.
In a press statement issued Tuesday in Abuja and signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the ruling party said the new timeline for the purchase and submission of forms will now run from March 12 to March 23, 2026.
The party clarified that the adjustment only affects the form submission schedule and does not alter the previously announced dates for the main events. According to the statement, the Zonal Congress will still take place on March 25, 2026, while the National Convention is scheduled to hold from March 26 to March 27, 2026.
The APC also announced a change of venue for the South-South Zonal Congress, which will now be held in Asaba, Delta State.
The party disclosed that official notification of the revised arrangements has been communicated to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in compliance with legal requirements.
The APC urged members, stakeholders and the general public to take note of the updates and make the necessary adjustments ahead of the scheduled activities.
