The Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN) has reaffirmed its commitment to inter-agency collaboration as part of efforts to promote peace and security, following a courtesy visit by the Nigerian Police Force to the Council’s headquarters in Abuja.
The Executive Secretary of ARCN, Dr. Abubakar Adamu Dabban, received the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Wuye Division, CSP Mary Usman, during a brief meeting aimed at deepening cooperation between the Council and security agencies. Dr. Dabban commended the Nigerian Police Force for its sustained efforts in mitigating internal crises and fostering peace across the country.
He also underscored the importance of professionalism and ethical conduct among security personnel, noted that effective collaboration among government agencies remains critical in addressing insecurity and ensuring a stable environment for national development, including agricultural research and innovation.
In her remarks, CSP Mary Usman reiterated the commitment of the Nigerian Police Force to safeguarding lives and property. She assured that regular patrols and other proactive security measures have been put in place to guarantee the safety of residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and the nation at large.
The visit highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional partnerships in support of national security and sustainable development.
