The Arise O Nigeria Empowerment Initiative has signed a partnership agreement with an Inter Governmental Organization, International Peace Commission IPC,
This was contained in a press release signed by the Global Coordinator of Arise O Nigeria Empowerment Initiative Arise O Nigeria Empowerment Initiative, Ambassador Jonathan Daniel.
The partnership according to Ambassador Jonathan was sealed through a synergy by the Founder of Arise O Nigeria, Amb. Jonathan Daniel and Amb. Dr. Babatunde Lee, The Country Director, IPC.
He stated that the basis of this partnership was to strengthen the workforce to interface with governments, communities and the civil society thereby causing an effective bilateral relations between various African country Government and the Government of Nigeria while managing grants for international organizations including implementing diverse community development projects.
IPC is an Inter Governmental Organization established to promote peace, equality, human rights, economic development and educational access in Nigeria. IPC is working in collaboration with the UN organs, such as UNEP, UNDP, UNCHR, UNDDA, and WTO for the development of a global society. IPC is associated with “Conference of NGO (CONGO)” in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations Organization (UNO) and incorporated in the state Missouri United States of America as Inter Govt Agency having Partnership /Collaboration with more than 1000 International Non Governmental Organizations in more than 28 countries.
The main focus of IPC is Human Rights, Social Development, Education, NGO Networking, Environment, Youth, Health, International Campaign against Aids, Women Empowerment, Media, Democratization, Humanitarian Aid, Disaster Management, Peace Keeping, Disarmament and sustainability through development and support of civil society initiatives and goals.
Jonathan maintained that the move would further the aims to Strengthened the “Arise O Nigeria Campaign Against Illegal Migration & Human Trafficking ”
.
He said the recent scourge in Libya has geared Arise O Nigeria to address migration flaws through an aggressive sensitization program through an enhanced local and international cooperation aiming at addressing the root causes thereby cracking down on smugglers and traffickers hence protecting the right of victims, Nigerian & Africans at large.
Amb. Jonathan accordingly said “Arise O Nigeria therefore hopes to create meaningful coexistence in sustaining bilateral relations in Asia, America and Europe which will contribute more to the promotion of local and national humanitarian projects in Nigeria while aligning with the vision of the United Nations, European Union & African Union in promoting the campaign against racism, slavery, unemployment, value and ethics as a stimulation of mass participation in driving the ideals of the true PAN Africanism.
Arise O Nigeria hopes to empower women with a strong leadership character, providing them with a powerful voice at the global, regional and local levels to promote gender related issues in Africa with the indication of facts arising from women lacking access to decent work, basic education, occupational segregation, gender wage gaps as they are also under-represented in political and economic decision -making processes”.
Arise O Nigeria Empowerment Initiative* is a Non Governmental Organization registered in Nigeria, inaugurated and endorsed by the United Nations women in 2016 for empowerment and advocacy of vulnerable youths, women, promoting peace and good governance in Nigeria.
