In a bid to foster economic stability and social harmony, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) Vanguard, a leading support group for President Tinubu, has called on Nigerians to cultivate a culture of contentment and avoid actions that could harm the nation’s economic progress.
During a lavish End-of-Year and New Year celebration held in Abuja, the National Convener, Sola Olofin, addressed members and guests, emphasizing the importance of supporting the administration’s efforts to improve the nation’s well-being. Olofin highlighted the group’s dedication to humanitarian outreach, particularly for the less privileged, as part of their Renewed Hope Agenda.
“One of our core missions is to assist those in need, including hospital patients struggling to pay their bills,” Olofin stated. He further outlined BAT Vanguard’s history, noting its pivotal role in supporting President Tinubu’s rise to leadership, driven by the belief in his vision for Nigeria.
Olofin praised the administration’s achievements, such as advancing local government autonomy and revitalizing the nation’s refineries. He shared updates on the operational status of the Port Harcourt refinery and progress at the Warri petrochemical refineries, underscoring the administration’s commitment to reducing fuel prices and improving living standards.
“We are already witnessing a reduction in fuel prices, and we anticipate further decreases, which will bring relief to Nigerians,” Olofin remarked. He urged citizens to avoid exploitative practices, advocating for a collective embrace of contentment and fairness in economic dealings.
The event, chaired by Sheu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, was attended by numerous government officials and dignitaries, reflecting broad support for the group’s initiatives.
Olofin reaffirmed BAT Vanguard’s commitment to aligning with government efforts and continuing its outreach programs to address the needs of the masses across Nigeria.
