Based on an unaudited mid-month fuel price data released by the Central Energy Fund and the unstable price of the crude oil, Automoble Association predicted that there will be an increase in the price of petrol
According to the AA’s prediction, the price of petrol is expected to increase by about 50 cents a litre while diesel and paraffin are heading in the opposite direction, reducing by 56 cents and 75 cents respectively.
Consequently, the celebrations of the motorists when the petrol price was reduced by R2 last months would be short-lived as the administered price of petrol will soon increase due to these prevalent reasons earlier mentioned.
