The Leadership of the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN) has commended the Registrar-General of the Corporate Affairs Commission, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji,for his transformational leadership.
The President of the Association, Chimezie Victor Ihekweazu, SAN, extolled the RG for bringing excellent and transformational innovations into the Commission’s services within a short stay in office.
The Registrar General is been praised by BRIPAN leadership during a courtesy call on him today.
He applauded the RG for making the business environment safe in Nigeria through the ongoing registration of FINTECH Agents/Merchants which is in tandem with the provisions of the Law.
He also commended the RG for making the Commission’s services seamless.
Speaking further, he revealed that feelers received from members of the Association indicates that CAC is highly rated as one of the best agencies of the Federal Government in terms of efficiency and regulatory index. He informed the RG of the very fruitful and beneficial relationship between CAC and BRIPAN which spanned over 20 years. He therefore appealed that the relationship should be sustained.
In his remarks, the Registrar-General/CEO, Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, thanked the delegation for the visit and expressed his willingness to collaborate with them.
The RG informed them of the Commission’s policy of ensuring that Insolvency Practitioners that intend to register with the Commission must prove their membership of the Association. He further advised them to develop a comprehensive digital database for all its members.
Other members of the delegation who spoke commended the RG, Management and Staff for a job well done and for making Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) proud for all the innovations introduced since he took over and promised to work with him for greater accomplishments.
Meanwhile, the President and his team requested for setting-up of Joint-Committee between the Commission and the Association for the review of the Insolvency Bill with a view to actualizing it at the National Assembly.
Aside the President, three other Senior Advocates of Nigeria were on the team: Adeleke O. Agbola, Emeka Etiaba and Lotanna Okoli. Also present were the Commission’s Management Team.
