The Registrar-General/CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has urged the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA) to deepen its role in youth empowerment, job creation, and enterprise development in the Federal Capital Territory.
He made the call today while receiving the AEA delegation led by its Managing Director, Dr. Chudi Ugwuada-Ezirigwe, on a familiarization visit to the Commission.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration to enhance the ease of doing business, support start-ups across institutions, and promote overall economic growth in the FCT.
Commending AEA’s contributions to the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), the Registrar-General reaffirmed CAC’s commitment to providing seamless business registration and post-incorporation services to entrepreneurs.
In his remarks, Dr. Ugwuada-Ezirigwe praised CAC’s digital reforms, described the Commission as a major boost to business formalization in Nigeria.
Both agencies agreed to embark on joint sensitization campaigns, capacity-building programmes, and other collaborative initiatives to promote entrepreneurship, create jobs, and empower young people.
