The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced a review of its service fees, with the new rates scheduled to take effect from August 1, 2025.
The Commission made this known in a statement posted on its official social media platforms on Tuesday, citing prevailing economic conditions, increased operational costs, and consultations with critical stakeholders as reasons for the adjustment.
“The Commission wishes to inform the general public, esteemed customers, and all stakeholders that in continued efforts to improve service quality and delivery, it has become necessary to review certain service fees effective August 1, 2025,” the statement read.
According to CAC, the fee adjustment is part of ongoing reforms to ensure efficient, technology-driven services and to maintain a resilient and responsive regulatory environment.
Key Highlights of the Revised Fees
The review affects services rendered to companies, limited partnerships, business names, and incorporated trustees. Below are some notable adjustments:
For Companies:
Voluntary Striking-Off:
₦50,000 for small companies
₦100,000 for public entities
Relisting:
₦50,000 for LTD/GTE
₦100,000 for public companies
Due Diligence Search (Self-Service): ₦50,000
Extension to Hold AGM:
₦100,000 for public companies
₦50,000 for others
Historical Search Reports: ₦20,000 – ₦30,000
Restriction of Director’s Address: ₦25,000
Certified True Copies (CTC): ₦5,000 per document
For Limited Partnerships:
Voluntary Striking-Off / Relisting: ₦25,000
Letter of Good Standing: ₦10,000
Change of Name: ₦10,000
Registration & CTC of Documents: ₦30,000
For Business Names:
Voluntary Striking-Off: ₦10,000
Relisting: ₦25,000
Cessation of Business: ₦10,000
CTC of Documents / Extracts: ₦5,000 each
Restriction of Proprietor’s Address: ₦25,000
Name reservation fees remain unchanged at ₦1,000, while reservations involving restricted words still cost ₦5,000.

The CAC assured the public that the revised fees are modest, competitive, and necessary for sustaining its digital transformation drive and service quality.
“This decision follows careful consideration of prevailing economic realities, rising operational costs, and stakeholder engagement. We remain committed to transparency, accountability, and customer satisfaction,” it added.
