The Registrar-General and CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, presented a comprehensive briefing to the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Olajumoke Oduwole, highlighted the Commission’s significant achievements under his leadership.
During the briefing themed “Building a Customer-Centric Registry of the 21st Century,” Magaji detailed various initiatives that have enhanced industrial harmony and improved career progression within the agency. He reported the amicable resolution of several cases at the National Industrial Court, with appropriate compensation paid where necessary, and the successful completion of promotion exercises for 2022 and 2023.
Magaji also noted a remarkable increase in the Commission’s revenue, which grew from N18 billion in 2023 to N40 billion in 2024, attributing this growth to strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency.
In her remarks, Minister Oduwole commended Magaji’s efforts and the progress made by the CAC, noted the reduction in complaints related to staff welfare and career progression. She encouraged him to sustain the momentum and assured him of the ministry’s support in facilitating necessary approvals to further the Commission’s objectives.
The briefing underscored the CAC’s commitment to modernizing its operations and enhancing service delivery, positioning itself as a key player in Nigeria’s economic development.
