The Registrar-General/CEO of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, has reaffirmed his commitment to achieving the objectives of the 2025 Roadmap set by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Magaji made this declaration after signing the 2025 Roadmap Performance Contract alongside other heads of agencies under the ministry. He described the initiative as a strategic step towards enhancing performance, improving service delivery, and fostering economic growth, in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative.
“The Corporate Affairs Commission is fully aligned with the vision of the 2025 Roadmap. This performance contract signifies our unwavering commitment to driving reforms that will improve the ease of doing business, attract investments, and contribute to Nigeria’s economic prosperity,” Magaji stated.
The contract signing was a highlight of the 2025 Retreat of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, held at the Bank of Industry premises. The retreat, supervised by Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Trade and Investment, brought together agency heads to discuss strategies for accelerating Nigeria’s economic diversification.
With the theme ‘Accelerating Diversification to Rebuild Prosperity by Leveraging Industry, Trade, and Investment,’ discussions focused on strengthening policies that stimulate industrialization, boost trade, and attract sustainable investments.
In her remarks, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole reiterated her commitment to fostering a dynamic, resilient, and sustainable economy that enables businesses to thrive both locally and internationally.
“Our goal is to create an enabling environment where industries can flourish, investments can flow, and trade can drive inclusive growth. The signing of these performance contracts ensures accountability and measurable progress toward achieving these goals,” she said.
The retreat concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among stakeholders, as agencies pledged to implement key reforms, streamline regulatory frameworks, and improve service efficiency to enhance Nigeria’s business landscape.
