Former governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Okorocha, who is the senator representing Imo North was arrested Tuesday at about 4:15 pm at his private office ,Unity House in Abuja. The announcement was made on Sunday via the official Twitter account of Abubakar Sani Bello, Niger state governor. A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has dismissed the alleged certificate forgery suit filed against the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki.
