BREAKING: Aishat Binani wins Adamawa guber poll

‘Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has lost his second term bid to Senator Aishat Binani of the All Progressives Congress.   Binani was declared winner of the election after polling 409,909 votes ahead of the incumbent governor, Umaru Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party,who scored 406,617 votes.   Binani who currently representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District,made history as the first female elected governor in Nigerian politics.    

BREAKING: INEC postpones Governorship and State Assembly elections to March 18

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the governorship and state assembly elections till March 18, 2023.     According to reports, the exercise which was previously scheduled to hold on March 11 was shifted due to a logistics crisis stemming from BVAS configuration, and transportation.   The decision was made on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, following a meeting of the commission’s executives.   “We should be able to get everything in order before March 18,” a source familiar with the development said.   The meeting was still underway…
