FG DECLARES FRIDAY 1ST DECEMBER, 2017 AS PUBLIC HOLIDAY TO MARK EID-EL-MAULUD CELEBRATION

The Federal Government has declared Friday, 1st December, 2017 as Public Holiday to mark the Eid-El-Maulud Celebration. The Honourable Minister of Interior, Lt Gen. (Rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau, Ph.D, CFR, who made the declaration on behalf of the Federal Government, enjoined all Muslim faithful and Nigerians to use the Eid-El-Maulud Celebration to pray for peace, progress and unity of the nation. He further urged all Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration towards building the nation. The Honourable Minister wish Nigerians a happy Eid-El-Maulud Celebration.

FIRS hits 79.35 per cent of 2017 collection target in 10 months – Fowler

The African Union Import Levy Bill, 2017 has been passed by Ghana’s Parliament. The Bill sought to impose an African Union Import Levy of 0.2% (zero point two percent) on imports to finance the activities of the African Union.
