The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has sacked Abdullahi Sule and declared People Democratic Party’s David Ombugadu as governor of Nasarawa state. This is according to the ruling of the Chairman of the tribunal, Justice Ezekiel Ajayi on Monday, October 2, 2023. Recall that the National Independent Election Tribunal (INEC) had declared Sule the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the election with 347,249 votes.
