Troops Neutralize Bandits’ Kingpin Kachallah Buzu, Others in Zamfara

In a major breakthrough against terrorism, troops from the Joint Task Force Northwest Operation Hadarin Daji (OPHD) have successfully eliminated notorious bandit commander Kachallah Buzu and several of his fighters in Zamfara State.   The operation, which took place on the night of September 12 in Mayanchi village, was the result of an ambush laid by the military following intelligence reports on the terrorists’ movements.   Zagazola Makama disclosed that intelligence sources revealed that the ambush led to the neutralization of numerous bandits, including their leader, Buzu.   In addition…

Nigerian Navy rescues 59 from Sinking Ship ,Loses One Officer
