The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, has received 343 newly passed-out Police Constables from the Police Training School, Minna, urged them to uphold professionalism, discipline, and integrity in their service.
Represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, DCP Aminu M. Garba, CP Danmamman welcomed the Constables at the State Police Headquarters, Minna, congratulated them on successfully completing their six-month training.
Addressing the new officers, he emphasized the importance of discipline and professionalism, warned them against any form of misconduct. He reiterated the Nigeria Police Force’s zero tolerance for corruption and advised them to avoid actions that could jeopardize their careers.
The commissioner also reminded the Constables to strictly adhere to the Social Media Policy of the Force and respect all rules and regulations guiding police conduct. He informed them that they would soon be deployed to their respective Local Government Areas (LGAs) in line with the principles of community policing, urged them to apply their training effectively in safeguarding lives and property.
While encouraging them to be bold and courageous in carrying out their duties, he also stressed the need for courtesy and respect for human rights in their interactions with the public.
Before officially assuming duty, the Constables will observe a two-week break to prepare for the demands of policing.
