The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of a Nigerian woman, Nihinloluwa Agoro, and her two children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, in a road accident in Fort Bend County.
In a statement issued by the Commission’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa described the incident as heartbreaking, noted that the victims lost their lives during what should have been a routine journey.
She extended her heartfelt condolences to the Agoro family, prayed for the repose of the deceased and strength for those left behind in this difficult time. The NiDCOM boss also wished a speedy recovery to anyone who may have been injured in the crash.
Dabiri-Erewa further urged motorists to exercise caution on the roads to prevent avoidable tragedies, reaffirming her solidarity with the Nigerian community in Texas and across the United States affected by the loss.
Reports indicated that the fatal accident occurred on Sunday, March 15, 2026, while the victims were on their way to church.
