The Director General, National Productivity Center NPC, Dr Kashim Akor has been coronated as Omachi Atta Igala’ in Kogi state.
In an elaborate ceremony held at the palace of Atta Igala’ pavilion in Idah on Thursday attracted people from all walks of life that came to honor the top notcher of NPC.
The paramount ruler of igala kingdom, HRM Atta Igala’, Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa 11 honored Dr Akor along with 20 other prominent kogites, that had contributed positively both to the development of igala kingdom, Kogi and Nigeria at large.
The occasion witnessed the roll call of dignataries , friends, colleagues and well wishers that came from all walks of life to honor the DG NPC over the honorary chieftaincy title.
The road leading from Ankpa to Idah was agog to celebrate the honor done to Dr Kashim Akor by Kogi monarch.
At the family house at Ejegbo after the conferement , Dr Kashim Akor was received at the family compound by family members and aged mother .
A reception was held at his residence in Ankpa where the productivity guru and new Omachi Atta Igala’ thanked the people of his community, well wishers, colleagues and people from all walks of life for the auspicious occasion.
