The Director- General, National Productivity Center NPC, Dr Kashim Akor has been honored with honorary chieftaincy title by the Olu of Ilaro and paramount ruler of Ilaro-Yewa land,by Aleyeluwa Oba (Dr) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle over his contributions to socio-economic development of the area.
In a letter of notification sent to the Director -General and signed by the President, Yewa traditional council, and Rotational chairman, Ogun state council of Obas, Oba Asade Agunloye IV says in view of Dr Kashim Akor’s sterling qualities, contributions to the service of our people, the Yewa land is bestowing the honor.
The agarawu land, council ,ruling house, Yewa land congratulated the new Otunba Gbeluniyi of Ilaro, praying for a peaceful and successful reign after his coronation in November 26.
The Yewa people are the most prestigious and highly recognized people in Ogun state, spread towards boarder town of the current Lagos state.
The Director- General, National Productivity Center NPC, Dr Kashim Akor had made meaningful contributions not only in the area of productivity and productive society, but contributed greatly to socio-economic, skill development and enterpreneurial training of Nigerians.
