Economy: NPC assures Nigerians of more Quality Training ,Orientation

The Director General, National Productivity Centre NPC, Dr Nasir Olaitan Raji-Mustapha said the centre will deploy all it’s training skills and apparatus to diversify the nation’s economy.

Dr Raji dropped this hint during a one day workshop/event marking the 20th National Productivity Centre day (NPD) for public servants held in Uyo, Akwa ibom state on Thursday.

The theme of the event titled “Diversification of the Nigerian economy, the productivity imperative” , was declared open by Akwa ibom Governor, Pastor Bassey Umo Eno represented by the Head of Service HOS of the state, Elder Effiong Essien.

According to Dr Raji, the centre will be readily available to provide technical supports, coaching and mentoring the business community to become more productive and competitive.

He maintained the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu desire for a productive public service/ society at large was in line with the template of the centre, so as to move the economy of the country forward and compete favourably locally and internationally.

The DG said the role and awareness of the centre was for Nigerians to see productivity as a panacea to economic realization in all spheres of our national development.

“We do a lot of productivity training for public service and individuals, saying the new office will be a veritable collaborations towards quality productive society.”

He praised the state government for the success recorded in the event, stressing the need for other states to key into the laudable programs of NPC.
