An eighteen-year-old student of Eemaan Foundation College, Osogbo, Osun State, Qareebullah Olamilekan Ajisafe, has emerged as the overall best candidate in the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), surpassing more than 1.8 million candidates who sat for the examination across Nigeria.
The remarkable achievement has brought immense pride to Eemaan Foundation College, the state, and the wider Muslim community nationwide. Organizations such as Little Drop Education, an educational initiative of the OAU Muslim Brothers Forum, and the Small Kindnesses Foundation (SKF) have joined in celebrating Qareebullah’s success.
Established in 2002 as a nursery and primary school and later expanded to include a college in 2017, Eemaan Foundation College has consistently promoted value-driven, morally grounded, and academically rigorous education. Qareebullah’s national recognition stands as a testament to the school’s enduring commitment to nurturing young minds with discipline, support, and community engagement.
The school’s Proprietor, Pharmacist Qamarudeen Bankole, a distinguished graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University and former member of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, OAU Branch, has been praised for his visionary leadership. In recognition of his exceptional performance, Little Drop Education and SKF are each awarding Qareebullah ₦100,000, aiming to encourage academic excellence among Muslim students across the country.
