Niger State Governor, Alhaji (Dr) Abubakar Sani Bello has felicitated with the Muslim ummah in the country on the occasion of the commemoration of the Prophet’s Birthday.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mallam Jibrin Baba Ndace ,
Governor Sani-Bello enjoined all Nigerians, especially Muslims in the state to come together peacefully to celebrate the glorious event in order to further bind the ties that holds the people together, not just as Muslims but as Nigerians, stressed that living in unity is essential for collective progress .
The Governor also urged Nigerlites to make use of this opportunity of the occassion to reflect on the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW), his peaceful lifestyle and practices adding that they should strive to imbibe these practices as fundamental for attaining progress in the state.
He also stressed the need for all Nigerians to uphold national unity and engage in acts that promote national integration and urged all to channel their efforts towards a more developed and stable nation.
Governor Sani-Bello then expressed his unrelenting determination to fulfill the restoration agenda of his administration and admonished all political office holders to imbibe public service diligence in their service towards the state, as their action would impact on the development of the state.
