FCT NSCDC Commandant bags Honorary Doctorate, credits CG Audi’s Transformational Leadership

The capacity-building reforms and professional excellence drive of the Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR, have continued to attract global recognition, as the FCT Commandant, Dr. Olusola Odumosu, has been honoured with an Honorary Doctorate in Peace and Security Management by Prowess University, Delaware, USA.

The conferment ceremony, held at the Army Resource Centre, Asokoro, Abuja, also saw Dr. Odumosu inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management. The twin honours recognized his commitment to transparency, accountability, humanitarian service, and transformational leadership, in line with the Commandant General’s vision of building a world-class security corps.

Speaking after receiving the honours, Dr. Odumosu dedicated the awards to Prof. Audi, noted that the achievements were made possible through the enabling environment and strategic guidance provided by the Corps’ leadership.

In a statement, the NSCDC National Headquarters described the recognitions as proof of the Corps’ rising profile under Prof. Audi’s watch, driven by professionalism, discipline, and improved service delivery across all commands nationwide.
