Federal Polytechnic Mubi Governing Council Chairman visits President/Founder Al-Ansar Foundation

The newly appointed Chairman Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic MUBI, Ambassador (Dr.) Babagana Ajimi earlier today Sunday 14th July, 2024, paid a courtesy visit on the President/Founder of Al-Ansar Foundation Dr. MK Dikwa, mni at his Asokoro Residence.
During the visit the duo discussed on many areas of commonality and interest to both the Federal Polytechnic Mubi and Al-Ansar University Maiduguri. They both discussed on how best they can use their network of contact to improve the educational system in Nigeria and de-emphasized brain drain amongst the academia.
The Chairman while appreciating the effort of the President in establishing one of the finest private universities in the North, (Al-Ansar University Maiduguri) extolled the quality leadership he provided during his service years as the Federal Permanent Secretary of Finance. He recalled how Dr Dikwa through his influence, facilitated provision of funds to his former organization (The Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital, Kaduna) when he was the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Hospital. He revealed that Dikwa’s support has helped in revamping the hospital better than its peers in Nigeria.
Responding, Dr MK Dikwa, congratulated Amb Babagana Ajimi on his appointment as the Chairman Governing Board of Federal Polytechnic Mubi by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,he thanked him for the visit and pledged to support him and his institution in any way possible. He also expressed the hope that Nigeria would surely benefit from the wealth of experience of Amb Ajimi for being a Board Room guru for decades at different times and organizations in Nigeria including during Military Era.
Dr Dikwa prayed for the successful tenure of office of the Chairman and assured him that his door is always open.
High point of the visit was a group photograph and exchange of pleasantries by the President/Founder of Al-Ansar Foundation and the Chairman of the Governing Board of Federal Polytechnic Mubi, Adamawa State. .
